This weekend’s class reminded me of the importance of stepping away from what is familiar, remaining open to new ideas, and staying committed to a process. Early on, I realized the need to shift my focus from worrying about a final product to each element as it was being taught; a huge adjustment – but tremendous learning opportunity – for me!
